Geo Felt is made of needle punched coir fibre made into
a felt. It is 100% bio-degradable and excellent erosion
/ sediment control medium. It could also be used as a weed-blocking
mat when placed around small saplings. Its water retention
properties create an excellent microclimate for the growth
of the sapling. As the tree grows the weed mat biodegrades
and provides mulch. J7F Geo Felt is also available with
HDPE or Hessian backing to increase its durability and strength
when used on slopes to control soil erosion. |
